I seem to recall talk of using active noise cancelling for automotive exhausts back in the '80s.  Never heard of it reaching market.  I have Bose noise cancelling headphones I use nearly exclusively on air flights.  Work well.  A motorcycle helmet will likely be a different matter.  Lots of noise reaching your inner ear from air pressures on helmet, under helmet, through visor seals etc.  Placing a microphone at one location to sample ambient noise, then invert the signal waveform to be sent out speakers, is going to be ineffective IMHO. Proper headphones work ok b/c they are controlling most sound reaching the ear, then adding the inverted waveform to cancel  what the mic picks up.
