The company I work for used to custom ear plugs, using special acoustic filters with a very linear attenuation - basically you hear everything as before, just with a 10, 15 or 20dB reduction. Of course, I was a test person as well as the designer, so I have a good supply of custom earplugs and filters now. Manks a hell of a difference when riding, compared to the yellow foam industrial things I used to use.Unfortunately, we stopped doing these things in early 2019, and I do not know of anybody doing as good a product.
