I don't think so. The wristpins were a real sloppy fit, so I had Short Block Charlie's in Phoenix bush these rods with bronze bushings. They're a .004" interference fit mounted with Loctite stud & bushing mount. Bushing/pin clearance is .001".
I bought adjustable cam sprocket off ebay 7 years ago, so they are out there to dial our cams. I've done cam degrees on V8 on dyno and .5 degree can squeeze out a few good percentage points of power or extra sweetness across the range.
Well, I'm about 90 days into this job, and it's turned out to be a frame-up restoration, or at least a refurbish. The bike came down to the last nut and bolt and is going together nicely. I'm still finding buggered and missing parts as I go, so it's been slowed by waiting on parts. Here's my progress so far.
