Hi, I've just purchased a set of the latest Girling rear shockers for my 850 commando and would like to know if anyone could advise me what bushing was used to mount the shockers top and bottom frame and swinging arm.

I have in the set some tubular bushes that push into the rubber inserts leaving an open end and other bushes that would cover the rubber but would be too wide to fit the top Mount between the frame. Is it right in saying both bush types would have to be used to mount top and bottom fixing points.
Thanks for any help.

Pre-Mk3 upper and lower bushes were 0.750"/19mm wide.

These must be the bushes you mean so you'd use the four parallel "3/8" (9.5MM) BUSH .790" (20MM) WIDE" certainly for the two upper mounts...
...with an 06.7808 washer on the outside of each lower bush or perhaps use a top hat bush instead of the parallel lower bush and 06.7808 washer.

The Girling shocks come with a variety of adapters and fit 750 and 850 Commandos without problem. You can also adjust the length somewhat and it's best to use that to keep from hitting the chainguard. You don't need those that cover the rubber. Just find the center bushes that are the right width and have a 3/8" hole, put them in and install.
