Now you got strong rods… may as well fit a big bore kit…
Couldn’t agree more !All Tridents should be at least 850. Turns them into a three cylinder Bonneville.
May the Torque be with you.
Superb bit of kit.
0.3g max difference seems pretty close to me. Thunder rods are very good, I always use them in 750 twin engines.Went with the Thunder Eng alloy rods. Good price fast service. As you can see by the photo the weights (inserts included)
are pretty far off but I'll have to live with that!

I was being funny....one gram is quite good 3/10th of gram is silly good.0.3g max difference seems pretty close to me. Thunder rods are very good, I always use them in 750 twin engines.
I have had some problems with oil control. Both internal and external. P&M says their method of installing the liners is better.Superb bit of kit.
Shame no one offers a plated bore version innit.I have had some problems with oil control. Both internal and external. P&M says their method of installing the liners is better.
Maybe, I have not had a set to hand.
In fact I would agree. Plated bore is fine as long as nothing goes wrong. Sleeves are tried and true but the sleeve to blockShame no one offers a plated bore version innit.
Maybe they’re small valves.Man! How does he get 12 valves into one head? ...gasp...
