New carb help

I am needing new carbs for my 1972 750 commando interstate. I spoke with my parts supplier and he told me about the Wassell evelution carbs with all the same features of the Amal premiers. They are quite a bit less money and he has sold over 80 pair and has not had any complaints. My Norton has 32 mm w/ 230 jets. The Wassell specs are for 850 w/ 260 jets and the sloped spray tube. My carbs do not have the sloped tube. My question is will the new Wassell carbs spect for a 850 work on my 750 if I change to the correct jet size and leave the sloped tube? Any help will be appreciated as I am requiring new carbs ASAP. Thanks.

So I called a few other suppliers and restoration/repair shops and have been told that the 850 carbs will work fine with 750's with proper jets installed (and proper sized manifolds). One of my last calls I found a pair of new Amal Premiers for the 750 for a decent price so I place the order and they have been shipped. I hope my finding will help someone looking for the same info in the future.
