Has anyone come up with a good way for protecting the Interstate tank (or any other tank for that matter). Mine gets rubbed badly where the knees are. I am considering Tankslapper but they don't have that pattern so I would need to make the pattern up. Thought I would check to see if anyone else had gone the Tankslapper route or another creative route. I like the leather ones and since my Interstate is black, I was wondering how black leather would look. Any thoughts, ideas, patterns, etc would be greatly appreciated.

There is a transparent film available in Australia that can be stuck onto the painted tank or fairing that stops stone chips.
I'm sure there would be something in the US.
I've seen this on bikes and it works well and is hard to see.
