Don't see discount mentioned anywhere on Ebay. Hidden somewhere?

1032?
Not 1532?
got the 1032 number awhile back from a maylar post. used that NAPA number once now, and a WIX 51032 (cross matched) a second time - don't seem to have issues. the 1032 does cross reference to the Baldwin B474 which is listed on the Old Britts site as a substitute filter.

same here - got the discount code from someone on an automotive forum. my order went through - don't know why it's not mentioned on the ebay site.

Not 1532? NO

you mean 1352? high bypass as original norton with check valve

since 1989 in my library

1032 is low bypass and no check valve

so dyno, from the specs, it seems that the 1032 filters smaller particles (10 micron) vs the 1350 (27 micron), thus the difference in by-pass pressures - the 1032 by-passes at 8-11 psi, and the 1353 at 12psi. other than that, the only difference is the anti-drain valve - the 1032 doesn't have the valve, and the 1352 does. CURIOUS QUESTION - how does the anti-drain valve affects the oil sump issue that nortons seem to have, or does it have no effect. seems to me, while it may be desirable, the anti-drain valve really isn't necessary. I wonder if folks that use filters with the anti-drain valves experiencing the same level of oil sump issue as folks that use filters without the valve. thanks for any input....

BTW - not trying to turn this into a filter thread - just curious.

does the 1032 fit the stock filter head threads or the screw on adapter aftermarket ones?
Yes click on the link I researched and provided and read the data

Lacking a check valve has zero effect on wet sump. only the filter hose can empty back but it can not siphon the oil tank. The oil filter is usually half full of air...
Originally the 1032 was a fuel filter therefore the 10u rating.
Our motorcycles will never clog that filter so the bypass is rather irrelevant.
Even full wet sump emptying of cold 50W, I would bet not open the bypass. IMO volumn of flow would be to small

for some reason, i'm thinking, given enough time, gravity will drain most oil from tank and into the sump - yes/no - ???

Given enough time, yes. But, what does that have to do with an oil filter?
dynodave stated - "only the filter hose can empty back but it can not siphon the oil tank," - this goes back to my question on whether the "FILTER'S" anti-drain valve had any effect on the wet sump issue. just posing a question.

thread seems to be going off topic - so back to the beginning - if you need any odds and ends for you bike, INCLUDING filters, there's a current fleabay $25 discount code available.
