Hi.
Where is the key switch?
There is a bracket?.
Do you have some picture to post?

Bracket fits behind the nut on the subframe bolt, just below the front edge of the seat. This places the switch just behind the air cleaner. Look in the Matchless section for detailed pictures.

Did all years have a key switch?
The wire loom on the motorcycle I have with magneto does not seem to have connections for a key switch?
Is it possible earlier ones did not, like early Atlas models?

Yes.

Early bikes should just have the 3-position light switch - you generally don't need a key to run a magneto bike.
