Thanks for everyone's input. It is truly welcomed.

While powder coating is probably the best frame coating, i decided to go the rattle can route and used Eastwood's Extreme Chassis Black (no clear coat). I have to say, for spray paint that stuff is awesome. It is super black and super glossy and it appears very tough but time will tell on that. Unfortunately, pictures do not do it justice

I also luckily had some old methylene chloride laying around. Too bad they banned it.
