What is the winged logo? Can't quite make it out...
RAF I fitting tribute. That's a good looking seat, Philly, but I got a feeling you already know that.

That seat is almost identical to the Candy Apple metal flaked P!! dragster so know well why its got a butt shelf. Its classic racer seat intended for short term use with adrenalized numbing of body pains so looks fighter pilot racy to me too but rather unappealing to spend many miles in traffic conditions you ain't moving around a lot like a racer does for a short heat now and then. Does save a lb or so off the factory seat with 2x's as much padding yet infamously called a "brick". Can't give gals a ride either and good luck convcing any to sit in your lap. To carry anything and not spoil the lines, like even my best bud Wes refuses to do on his hard ass Corbin, pilot becomes the pack animal...
Still regardless of my actually living on it attitude I'd love looking at it in my own living room and watching the nods of approval from strangers and friends.

Best normal use C'do seat I've had so far with women's soft chests packed on my upper back...

That is why I have never put on the grab rail the PO took off and lost...

Thanks all for your compliments and comments. I ride my vintage British bikes quite a lot in "riding season" however I generally don't ride farther than 100 miles out and 100 miles back. I'm an old fart and don't hold up well on the long jaunts. I do have a 2000 Triumph Sprint ST with panniers and top box if I need to go on a trip.

When I first started my Norton project I had no intention of having a custom seat. However, when I secured the RGM alloy tank none of the "stock" seats would work . The closest one would have been an early Interstate seat. Should my seat prove to be too uncomfortable I'll try the Interstate for longer rides and use the fancy one for "shows"..........PhillySkip

Its so nice a seat for everyone to see its details just put a pillow on it if too hard to take a few hours.

Hobot ,one nice feature of this seat is that I built a package shelf that fits between the rear hoop frame rails and the frame cross member just behind the oil tank. This shelf will allow me to have a place for my tool roll, and other stuff that we take along. The rear seat cowl is large and. hollow and works well with this set up. I could probably store a 1/2 gallon of Jack Daniels or a kilo of "medicinal Marihuana " back there just for emergencies......that's if my gearbox would stop leaking!
