Ms peel and Trixie for sale on Facebook

That's a shame. When I initially heard of his plight via @1973x1974 ? I thought I would try and help the man. He was in a home in Berryville, Arkansas. I spoke with him a couple times. He told me his ex-sold all his Norton stuff. He was getting ready to be booted out of the home. I tied to intervene, even writing a letter to the Arkansas Governor. Her office was willing to help, but never heard from Steve again.

Good spot Baz !

Guys, guys, guys…

Someone over there buy this!

Yes, it had a Drouin blower set up on it.

It also had a Maney 920 engine built by Ken Canaga. Maybe Ken can shed some light on the spec, but I recall it being built to a very high attention to detail.

It also had a TTI gearbox.

So, just in that engine, blower, gearbox there is COMFORTABLY over $20k.

Alloy cradle with extra iso. Ohlins shocks. And probably all sorts of expensive bits n bobs in little packets and boxes.

At $4500 (even before haggling) that is a freakin corner cripple humbling Gravel churning bargain !!

Caveat: of course, you’d need to go and see and confirm this is all still the case and it hasn’t already been cherry picked.

The man with his work:

RIP Steve.

Looking at the pics on facebook the 920 with Maney cylinders is still there in the frame with the Ohlins rear shocks and knobby front tire. I do not see the TTi gearbox anywhere, but it could be hidden under something. Roll of the dice thinking either engine is still functional. What I see is a $4500 ticket to burn more money. Good luck to whomever buys that pile.

Reading hobot’s stuff on this forum has brought me many hours of joy. Even though he was over it before I got here, I really felt like he had a knack for remembering that these are machines for us to use and enjoy, not just to polish and hide away from the world. Every time I take a gravel road on Nortaniel (my kids name for the bike) that the harley guys wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole, I think about hobots insane videos riding up a dried up creekbed, modifying his exhaust with a shotgun, general rampaging, etc. They’re built to be used and nobody did it with more vigor than him. I hope to god somebody puts em together and rides the piss out of em. May his memory be an inspiration to us all-
