I would like to comment that regardless of how the Most Improved Contest turns out, that there are a number of entrants that have tirelessly (well mostly) contributed to this forum and have tried to help others with their projects. I have learned a lot through reading these threads and in my own research and efforts to find answers to some of their questions.

There is not a seperate category for this, but I want to officially say thank you to the people who make this forum a place for me to turn to in my own quest to improve my bike!

Kindest regards and wishes for good riding to everyone,
Russ

I second that. I feel like I can rely on my dad's knowledge a lot when it comes to Nortons but everyone on this forum has been extremely helpful to someone like me who is just now catching the bug. I've also been able to sell some extra parts to further this addiction. :)

Thanks to all and have a Merry Christmas!

I would have no doubt, even the most experienced among us have learned something from this forum. If not about the Norton, then something was learned about oneself and choice of motorcycles. Irrational and masochistic.

Agree with wanting to thank everyone who volunteers to offer advice to me and others who ask.
On several occasions I've received great answers to problems I had that saved a lot of effort and frustration on my part.
Nice to be in a worldwide fraternity of nice guys and gals.

I 3rd that.. Can't thank you all enough for the many times your advice has saved me from myself! Learning things from you masters like the time my bike was leaking oil from the back of the primary case around the felt seal and I thought I was going to need to replace the seal and maybe the gearbox seal too.. Thank you LAB for pointing out that it was just motor oil that had seeped by the front crankcase seal into the primary because it wet sumped and sat for a couple months while I was working on stuff.. Simple little nugget of info that only a long time Commando owner would know. Happy Holidays one & all..
