Time to make a new sticky thread, or make this one sticky then!

Glen's Vincent will be tough to beat; what a work of art...

Doesn't sound like my project would qualify, much of it was made in 2012 tho the temporary engine is from 1947.

The first photo is already showing some signs of improvement, about 2 days into the project. Actual starting point was obtaining a 4" SS tube for the spine and a 2.5" dia round solid SS crop for the steering tube.

and here is the account of the head scratching that went on during the build. 26 pages of some pretty boring stuff, but there are some photos that might be of interest.

and here is the improved project :)

"Most Improved 2012" ??

I'm smiling both for the photo and the fact that the show's organizers have asked me to light the bike up inside the building right after the photo is taken. With the open megaphone it has a pretty wicked bark, either a treat or a deafening noise depending on your point of view. Luckily they were all vintage bikers and were grinning too afterward!

Glen

Is that the before or after picture Glen? Just kidding. Sweet is too mild a word to describe this.

I agree 100%!
It gets my vote!
I would love the opportunity to ride such a sweet machine.

I'm sticking with the Commando. It's a nice bike though.

Did you weld those zorsts Matt? if so, they`d be wanting most improved - updates.
Do like that fresh yellow roadster, but why not black cyl barrels?

The yellow roadster is a very late 72, Aug build date and not a combat. Most of the specs on it are like a 73, so I decided to go with the silver barrels. As far as I could tell thats what they originally were. Besides I like the look.
