Modified Kickstart

Here is the latest modified kickstart lever I have done so far. I stepped it out a bit more so now the lever clears the footpeg which does not have to fold.




Here is a picture of the rearsets I have made. Still a bit of fiddling but it's starting to take shape.

Hi Guys - - I started this thread ages ago and it seems to be a popular subject - I've noticed that all of the modified versions mentioned seem only to fit bikes with rearsets. I bought a unit from Avery Products which, although well made, didn't fit due to the standard footrests blocking the 'swing'. I've subsequently been told that the standard Mk3 kickstart is of different geometry to the older style and gives greater clearance from the silencers - can anybody confirm this ?(my main problem is that when trying to start whilst astride the bike my heel catches the silencer thus I don't get a 'full swing') thus I have to start her on the centre stand which in the long term bodes badly for the stand etc.
