Hello, I would be grateful if some one has a picture of a Mk3 rear guard showing the original mounting holes at the rear of the guard. The guard I have has many holes drilled in it and the parts book doesn't show the holes clearly. I would also appreciate if any one can suggest where I might buy a new rear guard so I can decide weather my dented and drilled guard is even worth repairing and re chroming.
My email is g_t_moloney@bigpond.com
Regards Graeme.

There are four holes at the rear end of the mudguard. Two 5/16" holes for the 061121 rear mounting clip, and two holes for the 1/4" number plate mounting bracket.

The upper 5/16" clip "screw" [24] is a special, as its head is threaded to take the 2BA x 3/8" glass fibre tail light fairing retaining screw [23].
The lower 5/16" clip bolt [28] also retains the 063727 support bracket that should be marked as part [29] on the exploded parts diagram however the number appears to have been left off the diagram, but it is included in the list of parts.
Spacer 064016 [33] I think, is supposed to fit under the head of the special bolt, where mine has multiple washers:
