Well I have nearly 100 miles on my MK3 and have just torqued the head down. I am beginning to really like this bike. I used the kick start yesterday just to make sure it works. So far no problems except a minor oil leak (5 min fix)- TOUCH WOOD. I am really taking it easy and not loading it up at all barely going above 3,500 revs and using gears a lot. I am heading out for another ride today. Can't wait to get this bike rolling a bit more. I don't usually ride this slowly so its tough!

Here is a pic from yesterday- Lucky to have California sunshine:

Maybe next month you can make the Vintage Bike meet in Huntington Beach??? Would be good to see it in person, Sure would be a favorite to win bike of the month.

Thanks!

So where is the Huntington Beach meet and what date-- Maybe I can be there :-)

Beauty. Flanged rims look great. Mk3 attract some criticism but are great bikes, I like the more aggressive looking primary cover than the early models.

Brilliant-- see you there probably-- will email you before I go as there is a small chance I will be out of town on business.-- cheers

Really nice Jerry, I particularly like the lower front turn signal location and the modern replacements work really well. So many times modern parts really look out of place on vintage machines IMHO, but what you've chosen for upgrades, I think look very classy.

Cool Bananas . Like the mountains too . Such hardships .
Might put of feeding the doberman for a while , with the recent hardships .
Universal Motorcycles when it was beside the butchers shop gave the alsation barrel
a sack of bones every few days, which it devoured .
Not a lot of hope for overnight intruders there .

At least a Camera tape monitor , and micro switch to horn , on garage door Id think .

That bike is a beauty. If you can't make the Huntington show don't worry, it happens every month on the 2nd Sunday.. Hope to see you there.

Hi Glen,

I will be going. Lets meet before? You are near Fullerton right. Let me know if you want to grab a coffee and ride over together. Will PM you nearer the time-

Cheers
