MK111 seat

Hello Was wondering would any earlier year commando roadster seat fit a 1975 MK111? Don't care if it don't hinge open . i know the seat pans are different or could i get my pan covered in ribbed or basket weave would it fit ? Like the sporty look of 71 -73 seat any one changed theiir 75 seat to a earlier year M.C.

If you remove the latch and hinge mechanisms, any earlier style seat will fit. There have been some problems with certain Mk3 frames and fastback tailsections, as apparently some rear loops are wider, but mine wore one for years.
