Can I use my new Iwis double row primary chain in the MK 111 ? Hope so , with the tensioners and all. Nice quality. Also received the Iwis cam chain and the Iwis final chain too. Enjoy.

I don't know the answer, but have a question.
Is the IWIS primary chain endless or does it have a master link?

Glen

Its endless, it sits in stock at the chainmans in long reels, they are run off and split and then using a rig joined up to the right length using a newly riveted link which afterwards looks like all the others. You can see the process if you buy them off the trailer at the Autojumbles they visit.

Still waiting for a primary double chain to come in the post. Hoping its this week. I assume these are placed on the inboard most sprockets on the pre-MKIII's?

Great quality. No link ends.

Yes , inboard. But I'm asking about MK 111 usages. Can I ?

I can't think of any reason why not.
O.K. , my concern was with the hydraulic chain tensioners and how they would sit on the double row chain face seeing as the tensioners were designed for the triplex chain. Let's see then if they work without side load.
