Hi, I'm new to this forum, very nice.
Just a quick note on Mikunis.
If you get a remote cable operated choke assy. for snowmobiles from a "carb warehouse" you can use the original lever on the bars for the choke.
It looks nice and is easier to modulate the choke amount.

More details

Doug:

Can you be more specific about "carb warehouse". I assume you have a single Mikuni on your 750. Can you post a photo of how the cable is attached to the lever?

I have a '72 Commando Interstate with a single Mikuni and would really like to have remote control of that choke lever - this morning I had to pull over to the side of the road to turn the choke off!

I am just west of Phila. in Ardmore.

Thanks, Stuart

You can also get the parts from Rocky Point Cycle. Don't know how their prices compare but they seem reasonable.

CHOKE CONVERSION

Hi, the # I have for Carb parts warehouse is; 216-524-1599. They have a really good catalog with exploded views and #s of all type mikunis and keihins.
The part # is 002-351 (cable type starter system) specify spigot or flange type. The complete lever assy comes off and is replaced by a plunger with a cable notch.
You will have to shorten the inner cable since the amount of travel for this type of choke is only about 1/4 inch. The bar end attaches the same way.
Good luck, Doug
