Mikuni carb info???

Hi, I just put a 38 mm on my 850 is it me or do they run cold?? I have been told by an other source that they do???

I've never heard of anyone using a 38... mostly 34 and some 36

I am curious as to what you mean by "run cold"? Do you mean the machine is now cold blooded (IE lean) or perhaps the combustion is too cold (IE rich).
It has been frequently reported that the pre-jetted Mikuni kits come through on the rich side.
