I also got a hugger for Christmas, it looks beautiful but I had to slot the holes a little with a rat tail file as the holes did not quite line up. Regarding your comment on weaver all is good on the hugger but I did find a pulled bit on the fairing that is OE on the cafe racer. Now I've seen it I cant un-see it.

That's a large piece of CF for the faring. Its quite common to find a pull or a flaw. I didn't buy the faring because the underside is so crude. I'm thinking a nice liner would be nice for it. Haven't tried the fit yet on the hugger. Its so cold, I haven't been enthused about anything.

I am also not motivated to do much, its 36 deg C here. The underside of the fairing is not really visible as its in the shade.
