Hi All
I know that my main stand will have to be replaced & have already welding the significant indents in the lower plates of the cradle.
I have ground the welds back and followed the contour of the curves on the plates, but when i offer up the old stand the forward angle is "acute" to say the least. Yes this angle may well reduce with the new stand and there is the chance that additional weld my need to be added.
I want to get this sorted before the cradle is painted, so can one of our knowledgeable members provide me some photos, or better the best angle from vertical that the stand should sit ( when on it)

Thanks

I went through this last year with 2 stands, they vary a lot and one had the stops on completely wrong so the bike was resting on the foot tang. I measure mine at 16 degrees relative to the bottom frame rails and this lifts one wheel 1.5" off the ground and sitting on the seat you can push the bike off the stand.
