Some of the trouble may be the way the nut is captured in the battery terminal. It's a rectangular nut so it won't turn when you turn the bolt. I'm not sure what I can get to fit in there outside the original. It's a hard place to get to also. At least the bolt and nut are stainless.

Yeah, been married 44 years now. Come to think of it, if I'd killed her when I first thought about it, I'd be out of jail by now.

Huh? If the lead isn't connected to the battery, where's any current going to come from?

No, it died a long time ago and Pazon said not to use it and the condensers anyhow.
