Lucas/JRC ammeter

Bit confused, just bought a Lucas ammeter in a JRC box, the ammeter has Lucas made in UK on the front and has a longer pointer when compared to other Lucas ammeters, anyone shed some light on this one David

I thought that JRC are a west coast based parts supplier?

The Lucas item is a reproduction - Wassel are driving that one now.
