Lucas 200 W alternator

Does the Lucas 200 W 16 amp single phase alternator produce greater power at a lower RPM than the stock alternator?

If its 3 phase yes but not if its single phase.

3 phase does for sure but, one problem I've noticed is the shorting type regulators that short the AC leads to overheating the stator. I believe I've sorted that by incorporating a Shindengen open type. See Grant Tiller's: https://granttiller.com/regulator-rectifiers-alternators#Shindengen
