Hi, a little over a year ago I bought a upgrade kit for my front master cylinder... any one know who that might have been ?...just putting together now, need a few tips.

Madass's kit uses a sleeve to reduce the bore diameter and comes with appropriately sized piston and seals. You use a locktite type adhesive to secure the sleeve and drill through the existing mc holes with included tiny diameter drill bit into the placed sleeve, then deburr the holes with a bit of emery on a length of rod/drill bit.
Mine"s been working fine for three years now. Id say the original caliper now performs around 80-90 percent was well as my modern bonneville with has a larger, cross-drilled rotor.

Loctite ? , I thought that little tube was grease so that might explain why I got a leak.

It was the green, bearing holding type form of locktite....low viscosity. mine was in an unlabelled/unbranded bottle. But the instructions with the kit clearly call for its use to secure the sleeve.

Here's the kit pic on his website:

Just kidding, I considered using Loctite 660 at first but ended up using 680 (iirc) over the supplied wicking 290.
The problem is not the MC in this case but losing the threaded plug from the caliper and for sure if I buy a new one, the original will appear.
Good to hear that kit is working well.

yes ! that is it ! I need to satisfy my curiosity about the starting point of where that rear seal should be at its resting point. I need to get a hold of madass/

It should sit quite close to the first hole it encounters in the reservoir so that little movement is wasted before it can create pressure in the line.
