Looks pretty good on, I may just polish it up for the moment as finances won't allow painting just yet!

nice - how much did it set you back?
 
£290 tank & cap, Terry said its not up to being left bare metal and will need painting but I think he's being a touch too modest. bit of luck I'll get her back on the road just in time to wave bye bye to any decent weather.
 
Same as....but then you've seen all that I have on my plate anyway. I spoke to Terry last week and he swears it's almost ready!
 
I think I would whack some Norton stickers on it & use as is. Dunno if silver ones would be very effective though.
 
IT fits pretty well , maybea little snug over the wiring at the front, the holes for the rear strap are about an inch wider than the original but a bit of 1/4 ali sorted that. I've gotta get some 5/16-24 UNF studding for the front fixings as I'm guessing the ones on the original tank are bolts mouled into the fibreglass coz they wont come out.

Yep I thounght of that Flo & have two dark blue stickers waiting to go. :D
