I tend to find that most ‘normal’ Europeans (ie not politicians) are pretty much as dismayed by the political imeptitiude being shown on all sides !
 
I havent noticed any ineptitude at all. ALL politicians are quite happy with the status quo as that is how they do business. Or rather give
the taxpayers the business as they loot the public fisc. They certainly are adept at this.

You have a choice. Politicians are elected officials. You could have a complete competent public service without them. However the corruption would still be there, you just would not have representative participation in deciding your own future. What we need is better kings and queens who are prepared to act arbitrarily and risk having their lollies lopped.

We’re trapped in a self made problem with politicians...

The public reject the notion of politicians earning high salaries.

Actually, what we need are some people who are proven leaders, people who have succeeded in business or large corporations, people who can get shit done.

These people can earn very high packages in business, low salaries aren’t gonna attract them to politics.

That and political correctness has just about killed off the strong willed politician.

And that’s why they all sound the bloody same these days !!

Fear not my friend, we hate the eurocrats in Brussels as much as you do, and I hope to see it implode in my lifetime.
