Well there ya go applying good reasoning on stretch factorids to restrain from over torque of critical fastener. On Trixie Combat I ran into too tight shell fit on both rods before full torque with big ends too bindy draggy so had to take apart couple times and razor down the shells witness marks till smooth clearances that gravity could easy over come yet not free fall too easy till after run in on 1st start up. Anyway loctite not desired by me for such fairly high trq on smallish fastener size and sure would not want to depend on that pitiful stuff to keep nuts from loosening and does nothing to help the plastic deformation elongation loss of clamp force either. I would still use red locite on crank nuts but only like a red color rabbit foot as have found them backed off after nipped up so tight broke jaw off American made end wrench to match the torque/stretch of the one I could measure.

Two weeks in and the conrod nuts assemblied with ARP Ultra-Torque have not failed in use.
Follow up in 2 years. :D
Ta.
