I just noticed CNW's web site has a complete FCR 35 kit available inlcuding air cleaners. The air cleaner has been an issue on these. I assume these fit without frame mods.
Pricey, but looks interesting.
 
One of the guys in our club has a CNW motor and he's been running those carbs for a while. I believe he's been pretty happy with them.

To me though, they just don't look right. Too modern-looking against the classic lines of the Norton engine. I think I'll just stick with my funky old Amals 8)

Michael,
The picture on their website shows the carbs are pretty far back. In fact, it appears that the top of the carb is touching the frame gusset. I don't think this is going to be a very satisfactory bolt-on. You probably would need to cut away part of the gusset. I know Kenny Dreer was using these on his VR880 rebuilds also.
I just put a set of 41 mm FCR's on my Ducati and I can't wait for the weather to break so I can try them out.
