Just scared the sh#t out of my self

Hi All,
After a welcome ride, I just went to turn the petcock off, when it came right off in my hand, fuel everywhere, GREAT PANIC!!! Trying to catch it all in a bucket, and keep it away from the exhaust pipes. Success NO flames, lucky to have spare tap at home, all good, fingers crossed.

Stop using those old British petcocks, they are dangerous. The keepers can and do come off and can cause a world of hurt. I replaced mine with a new set of Japanese petcocks. It's just one less thing to worry about. We have enough problems with these old bike as it is. Be Safe.
