When I saw that the next topic would be #6000, I couldn't resist posting, even though all I have to say is Happy 4th of July and Canada Day (a bit late).
 
Better dig up some Commando related comments or the topic will get moved to the "anything" forum! So did you work on your Commando on the 4th? Go for a ride? I thought it was ironic to be enjoying my Britt bike on Independence day.

6000th Topic? I have about 6000 into my Commando. That's like a dollar per topic! What a coincidence. How related is that?
 
Yes It is funny...I actually got ALOT of small details taken care of on my Commando this 4th of July.

Heres a question, Where do those of you who have the Boysen Electronic ignition, find the best place to mount the black box?

When I had a Boyer Bransden ignition fitted (before the Tri-Spark), the box was cable-tied under the coil bracket in the space normally occupied by the ballast resistor and the 2CP condenser pack.
