Looks like you did a fantastic job on it. How has it been to ride?

Dont know. Have to hook up lites and sort through which side front disc mounts , fill with 100 octane.

Gorgeous machine. I have a whole new appreciation for JPNs after seeing that video clip showing Jay Leno on his!!

Looks great. The caliper should be on the back of the fork leg. The bike I am building (see cafe-commando-build-thread-t8372.html) is based on a real honest to god numbers matching JPN, when I bought it, it was a burned to the frame hunk of metal but I am so anti smoking I would not be caught dead riding a cigarette ad so I rebuilt it as a Fastback and now a café racer. At the time, I thought these variants looked bizzare, but time marches on and they look better and better (not enough to rebuild mine). Looks like you have the right gear change and brake rear sets, the rider pegs should have rubber on them, but who in hell would know, most people don't even know what a Norton is.

Very nice JPN. They are a bit more of an acquired taste as far as the "nose" / dual headlights, but then again, so is the tail on a Fastback...

I see you dropped your center of gravity with strategic placement of the tax disc!

However, that also appears to have increased your total unsprung weight...

ahem....... yes you are correct.
However I have a bit of an issue..
I am lacking a left side cover.
My supplier sold me what was supposed to be the exact fit.
However , it is not a correct fit.
Posted below are pics of said cover.
Any ideas as to what /where one may be ?
