If the shifter could be dropped down a couple splines exposing the N, then the shifter could stay. As for the carbs, put them on and see how it looks? Some of the Amal carb be behind the script? Would the kicker have to go as the Norton Script would have to move to the left or engine to the right to show all of the Amal carbs?

carbs, starting to get too busy IMO. it's a simple design that should pop out well on a black or dark T.

Rotate shifter a bit to expose the "N" in Norton - good idea
Carbs - good idea
Timing side on front, Primary side on back - good idea
Remove kicker - not necessary, in fact i like the spacing as it works out
Green blob moved to the left - good idea

Altogether - GREAT idea!

Like any good Commando build, a bit of thought has gone into this. But what I like about it too is numerous international opions. FOXY

Awesome! This would be for the back of the shirt, right?

Next we will need patches so we can put 'em on jackets. Hint...hint...

So I've created a Commando font. Basically creating all the letters that don't exist now. I'm still working on it and I'm not really happy with the quality but it's an ok start. Consider this a 1.0 release. Maybe more like a beta because it won't be public.

Hi All,

First thanks for the design/s. I think we all know what we want. There are a few designs here. All are great! Here is the deal:

  • -I am ready to move on this now
  • -If you have a design please can you email me it in EPS (Illustrator file) or if you don't have illustrator, the format you have. Give me a description how your design should be printed if possible (front or back etc)
  • -I have enlisted my daughters help as well as my best friends help- He does T shirts
  • -Please email your designs to jerry [@] accessnorton.com. Once you have emailed your design, send me another simple email without attachment letting me know you have sent it. This is in case the original gets blocked. Send your phone number and contact info too
  • -We are going to sit down and come up with a variety of options and get this rolling
  • -I will probably put a shopping cart together to streamline
  • -There will be T shirts, Polo shirts, sweat shirts and more

Exciting stuff!

Cheers-Jerry

Hi Jerry,

I'm not submitting a design, but my one input would be that the tees would be available in black. White tees and British motorcycles aren't a good match! Anxious to see what you come up with. Thanks!

1. Lot of good designs.

2. I would buy several. At least one to illustrate that I love Nortons, and at least one to show that I love this forum.

3. Once you have learned how to economically produce and sell these, I would think that at least every three months a new shirt would be offered. Hats and pins to follow.

4. This would mean a separate area in the forum for the stuff. Obviously, BSA and Triumph owners would want stuff too. This would mean a store. Grandpaul and L.A.B. could then begin to design a new bike based on the best of Old Brits. Swooshdave could sew the costumes, and I could build the set. Broadway, here we come.

5. Title…..Title……quick someone, a title.

would this be a good time to discuss Billing?

A quick update on the T shirts.

My daughter is helping me with this and we have gone over the top. We are building a shopping cart and there will be other Brit things in it as well as our T shirts, sweat shirts etc. The first design has gone to the T shirt shop and will be ready in 2 or 3 weeks and available in our new Brit apparel shopping cart. I have done some deals and there will be other cool stuff for sale. We will be doing all designs but have started with the green ball and front/back printing,

Cheers- Jerry

Gday Jerry, just wondering, hows the shirt production going?

Hi all-- I have not forgotten about the T shirts-- They are being made as we speak and will be sold from here: www.britapparel.com
There will be an announcement when they are done :)

Hello..........................................anyone here?

What happened to the T-shirts?

Hello-- sorry about the delay for the T shirts. They are going to cost me at least $800 upfront and I need to get the money organized. I have a very good deal, but it is still going to cost this much. I dont want to take the money first as I have no idea how long they will take. We are waiting for samples -- You will have to be patient-- Sorry -- Perhaps some donations would speed things up.

I'm pretty sure you could take pre-orders without any problems. Of course accompanied with the final artwork.

I'll take a few shirts of various designs for Wes and me in Ozarks.
Also want bright-light colored jacket patches, especially one for side of shoulder area to highlight from sides and add some cushion to ground grindings.

I think some donations for your time & all your effort are well deserved. Especially if it costs that much to get it started. I'll send you something today Jerry.
