Really nice looking rig, sir. I think the can looks great and I'm betting it sounds sweet too. Lost my sister first week of 2014, also to C. I think of her often as you will your brother. God speed to him.
Our condolences on your brother's passing. Treasure the happy memories and try to forget the pain of cancer. I hope the road trip gives you peace and comfort.
As it turns out it is eleven years this month since I quit cigarettes, one of the motivators was I did not want to be in a situation down the track of wishing I had when it was to late.
As far as 'bloke checkups just do it,it is that simple, even if for peace of mind only.
Jim,
Sorry to hear about your loss. As you have proved a blown up bike can be rebuilt but you can't with a person. Safe travels and hope to see you down the road.
Thanks for all the good thoughts concerning my brother.
I spent a few minutes doing some EFI tuning on my bike and since it was on the dyno I figured I just as well run it up and see what it says.
Here is the results on my Superflow dyno. It makes more power than my old 880 motor up to where I stopped the run at 6500.
For you guys who would like to see dynojet numbers here is a dynojet slip. The top trace is the dynojet tace with a maximum HP of 68.1 and a max torque of 68.3
