So I ordered a book of plans for one of my many hobbies- scale modeling.
$ 50 or so and $ 20 shipping . This is how it arrived -
USPS at it’s best

Literally dripping with soy sauce - WTF
Thankfully the vendor got right on it and a new copy ( wrapped in plastic) is on the way to me .

That's terrible. Soy sauce, wasabi with that? Lucky for me, I have ordered and sent hundreds, if not thousands of packages with USPS and I have never lost one or had one damaged.

Must have been a juicy edition, sorry couldn't help myself, glad the vendor did the right thing good on him.
I seen on Current Affairs show the other night a delivery man throwing a new computer over the fence didn't even attempt to walk in the yard lucky the security camera caught his action and hope he has lose his job, to many cowboy delivery drivers around, I have a great guy who delivers to my place always has time for a light chat and always wave to each other when out and about.

I have had a Big Brown (UPS) driver leave a package of frozen food at the entrance to my driveway, 500 feet from my house. When we tracked it after it was overdue, the tracking note said it was left under a bush. Having acres of woods in that 500 foot stretch, that particular bush was hard to find, and the contents no longer frozen.

Slick

I've found Amazon drivers to be the least professional. Packages left in the middle of the driveway and delivery attempts to my workplace well after hours and Sundays. Good help is hard to find these days.

That's why they bought their own trucks. To hire schlubbers for peanuts. Greed fuel.

USPS packages via tracking seem to speed along ok for me...but as soon as it arrives in the country of destination...especially here its as slow as a wet week ...and delivered to the wrong address at times....but thats NZ Post for ya...

I've been fortunate to have just experienced the opposite. An order from CNW (steps back to bathe in reflected glory) might as well have been dropped out the aeroplane as it reached me almost as soon as it crossed the pond :)

I am very happy with DHL. When shipped from UK sometimes I receive within a few days and the tracking system is very good.

DHL from the Philippines has been the fastest I've ever experienced with any courier ever..
We have continued staffing issues that has effected just about every industry here in NZ.
CNW parts are always fast dispatch and land to NZ ...US east coast dispatch and land is alot slower..tracking
Jamaica.. Japan ...New Zealand

I ordered an amp gadget from Classic British Spares on 26 April, it made it across the country to my PO box in 3 days via USPS.

I ordered shoe laces from Sperry because I could not find them local. They arrived last week. shipping date was 04/2019. FEDEX at it's best. LOL
