The bike's speedo and tach have no Norton name nor the Norton ball logo on them at all.
The speedo does have an odometer

Thanks so much
Dennis

They should be marked NVT (or NT) and could be either Smiths or Veglia in pairs.
Les,
I have seen enough MKIII's here in the US with Veglia MPH/odometer clocks and matching tachometers that have no markings at all (including my own) to believe they were sold that way. AN paperwork shows my bike as a Red Roadster, which was how it was when I bought it in 1998. My gauges have the correct part numbers on the bottom just no logo's at all. Can't tell you if they were factory, switched at the factory before export or switched here in the States, but they definitely exist. It's always one of the first things I look at.
Pete

and BTW, not directed to you, more toward the naysayers;
they are accurate within 2mph as compared to my GPS

Yes it's possible not all had the NVT (NT) logo.

Yes the Veglias I have on my MK3 (not original) seem reasonably accurate also those on my T140V.
