It will be interesting to see how the V4 engine is accepted and holds up since it is really nothing "new" but really hasn't been put to the test. I still don't think there will be a line at the door waiting to buy what they are "unveiling," no matter the styling. I don't know if the over 1000cc market is that big in the UK??

I think the V4 will need a vastly improved electronics and rider aide package to go along with the increased 200HP engine.
Something equivalent to what the other factory liter bikes offer.
TVS knows that expectations will be high for these new models.
They gotta get this right.
 
Well, one thing Indian companies are good at is copying other people's stuff, so if they bought some bikes from some of the top OEMs and just did some copying and reverse engineering, you can't mess it up!! I mean, there are so many great off-the-shelf products they can use without reinventing the wheel.

I'm just waiting for all the new lovey-dovey road tests. I'm going to start a GoFundMe for Stephen to be our official test rider, along with Stu for commentary.

My guess is the V4 was designed/engineered/built in Solihull - where the CE from MV Augusta et al are working. Can’t imagine they’ve been carrying out too much reverse engineering though; they’ve been bangin’ on about innovation from the start.

Input would likely have come from India I guess, but their expertise appears to lie mainly in small engine stuff for that market.

Definitely up for the test rider gig - the reviews would be strictly unbiased of course!!🤔

My thoughts exactly.... unfortunately, releasing the same bike in 3 versions isn't going to be the spark they need.
