Nice seat section
So what is it?
Side cover says 850 Estart but gear box/shift,master cylinder, tach etc is incorrect for a '75
Is it a '74 850 interstate nicely modded?
Great picture whatever it is

I't's certainly an 850 Mk3.

Agreed, the front brake master cylinder and instruments etc. are non-standard, but the gearbox cover is Mk3, it's just that the rear brake has been adapted to operate from rearset footrest position. The starter motor is missing.

I'm instantly repulsed by any bike with a 59 sticker on it, no matter what the decoration is.

Great bike ! Might be better with Ace Clubman's handle bars ? I'd like to push that sheila off it, and take it for a quick fang around the nearest race circuit.

No doubt. Unless of course the owner is over 60 and lives/lived in England.

Brings new meaning to "...excuse me while I whip this out..." Blazing Saddle(s)

.................."Brings new meaning to "...excuse me while I whip this out..." Blazing Saddle(s)"...............powerdoc I really did --LOL--on that one :)

Some of the younger guys that I'm working with had never seen that movie, so just a couple of days ago I checked it out at the USO tent and we all had a laugh

"Excuse me while I whip this out..."
Its all about the bikes laddies but thanks for making me look in again. Note the smooth tapering transition of the header into the reverse cone. Not all of em are like that.

The first thing I noticed,......well not the first thing, was the "electric start" sticker and no starter. Now my Commando has an electric start that even works a lot of the time but I'll be damned if I ever put a sticker on it that brags about it, so to have one on a bike with no starter at all is just goofy. I like the way the bike was modded though, quite tastefull in my opinion. Is that a Lockheed alloy comp caliper on the front? I like that.
