Insurance for 961cc bikes.

where is the best place to get insurance for these bikes, I am struggling to get insurance for the domi naked because no insurance company knows what it is, where does everyone get insurance from?
Or what provider recognises the bike?

Got my 961 CR 50th added to my Carol Nash policy. Was not quite straight forward as they said that their max value bike was £16K at first until I pressed them and they put me on hold for a word with the underwriter. So two bikes now, 2013 Moto Guzzi V7 special and the 961 50th for £240.00 per year with breakdown cover on 1000 mile per year on both. May have to double up the milage soon as nearly there on the Norton in 6 months

Both my bikes are with Triumph Insurance which I discovered were just another broker acting for Bikesure and they were able to give a competitive quote even though I only had 1 year no claims. I upped my annual mileage to 4k for each bike and that almost doubled the cost

Mine also added to my Carol Nash policy... eventually.
It took 3 calls before I managed to find someone who seemed to know enough to actually be able to do it at a decent price.
Several hundred £ difference between their original crazy price and the good price I ended up with.
Was a lesson for me: If at first you don’t succeed, call back and talk to another operator !
