Hi Gents, Do the washers that go onto the fork top tube bolts, go under the instrument pods or above them??...or are they above & below??
 
The washers go above the pod, and underneath the heads of the bolts.

They go above the pods only there should be none under the pod
 
Thanks Gents,,, BTW am i correct rev counter on the left & speedo on the right...
And do the pods face straight ahead or inclined inwards
 
Hi olympus,

On the MK 3 you cannot get them to face directly forward. I filed the mounting holes into slots so i can rotate the clocks to face forward. ( can't do with clock that are out of rotation).
 
I'm thinking to swap speedo to right side as I find the cable is just a tad snug at bars straight ahead position and creates a bit of bend in cable path. The tacho cable also seems too long mounted on the right and has to form a large S bend to cope.
 
The cable runs. Aren't an issue as I'm fitting electronic units, I was asking the positioning purely for estetic reasons
