Inserting the Welsh Plug in the Mk3 Swingarm

whew - I was reading this thread wondering " what the heck is a Welsh plug, and do the Welsh approve of it's name...? Is it like Scotch tape?"..
Now I read it is a Welch plug invented by the Hubbards... must have been in the cupboard next to the silicone. At least I am prepared for the 850 now and won't have to fiddle with that piece of "threaded coat hanger".

the rod can easily stay tight thru the felt.

I think it can be made oiltight with appropriate machining and seals. Maybe someday I will get around to it!!!
