For those of you who were able to go to the rally and had a camera.... Please post your pictures  Thanks

A guy posted some really neat pics on the "New Triumph Bonneville Forum", you will see the post listed about midway down on the left "2009 Norton Rally". He is a Hinckley Bonneville owner and probably does not know about this great place.

Wow!!! Nice video. can't wait to retire so I can take excursions like that.
Probably trailer my 72 comabt out then enjoy the riding.
My butt wouldn't last 1600 mile ride w/stock seat.

I am on the Ducati list, and one of the listers posted the following - I think the folks here would enjoy it.

My advice to anyone there in central NM who is a bit tired of looping
through Taos and returning through Las Vegas, NM would be to head NW
on US 550. It's good in NM and absolutely sublime in Colorado
between Durango and Montrose.

It had been years since I took the road myself, and I had forgotten
how wonderful it was, until I rode "sweep" at the International
Norton Owners Association Rally last weekend. It is all fine, and
from Silverton up to Ridgway there is nothing like it anywhere.

(The newest Norton on the ride was 35 years old, but I did not have
to load any broken-down Norton onto the truck; one lightly dressed
woman got welts from hail and mild hypothermia, so she rode the last
fifty miles in the truck while her husband rode solo.)

Which means that you don't have to have a Ducati to enjoy that
particular ride, though it might help.

Sounds like a great road!

Frank was camped right next to us, Really nice guy and it was great that he drove sweep for us. It really was fun going through the hail, LOL. And that many bikes and no Norton's breaking down on a 230 some mile ride over 4 passes that were as high as 11,000 ft. That's a great example as to how well these guys take care of their machines. Great ride and great people, For those of you that didn't make it. Well you really missed it. Think Canada 2010.
