I was wondering if anyone here that went to the rally in Quincy heard if there was a location for a rally next year? The INOA website is in really bad shape, no info at all.
BV?!?!Nation's Capital Norton Owners have been given the nod to hold the '26 Rally. Most likely in Buena Vista VA again. They are thinking mid June, hopefully it won't conflict with British in the Blue Ridge. BITBR has been held Father's Day weekend the last few years.
I think the Pink Cadillac Diner was down there, near the Natural Bridge. Set up in 1950's style. Must have missed Weezy's.BV?!?!
Inninat where Weezy's Diner is?
For many years I tried to get the rally dates changed, when Suzi was alive she refused to entertain a move. My thinking was to contact chapters with long running events such as the NTNOA in east Texas in October. No one in their right mind wants to go camping in the south or southwest during the heat of the summer, that is why these rally's are in the fall. Yet there are many great places to camp and ride in those areas. Instead of waiting for a chapter to raise their hand pick up the phone and contact them and listen to what they have to say about where and when. I got tired of beating my head against the "this is the way we have always done it" wall and walked away after the 2017 rally. Why was there a switch in the timing of the Rallys.?
Thought it was usually when most kids were on their summer Holidays

Maybe if the Atlanta Norton crew wants to organize the National Rally that would work. However, the '26 Rally is being put on by the Nation's Capital Norton Owners. DC area to north Georgia is a haul for the organizers to do the work over many months to get a Rally organized. The simplest way is to find out when British in the Blue Ridge is going to be and hold the INOA meet the next day. People so inclined can go to both events

I believe the reason the national was held 3rd week in July was because most Norton Owners were still young enough in the 80s and early 90s to still have kids in school. Why was there a switch in the timing of the Rallys.?
