Inner transmission with breather

I have a Norton gearbox inner cover that has a brass nipple above the mainshaft bearing ? Would this make it a MK3 cover part number 06.5210

No, although it is occasionally referred to as a Mk3 breather, it was introduced on the Mk2/2A.

That cover also doesn't have the hole for the Mk3 gearchange shaft.

And that hole in the MK3 made that gearbox a left hand shift ?
