So the locking plates don´t fit, they´re too wide. And a bit short too I think. Both screws and plates are from AN. The inner cover is also new, bought it from England, a private ad on Ebay I believe. Anyone got a good idea what this is about?

Inner transmission cover locking plates.

I just installed new AN locking tabs on a original primary case. They fit fine

Whatever the cause, probably not too hard to grind down

Once in a while I find one of three like you show, but it's the posts in the inner primary, not the tab. The length looks fine to me. A couple of strokes with a file and yours will go in. They don't have to sit flat as long as they are between the posts. You might try to other locations to see what I mean.

Whatever you do with the locking tabs, be sure to use some locktite (red high strength is fine on these). I've had one of those screws back out and go for a rattle about using only new tabbed lockrings.

And it’s a sealant. Although I only used a sealant

I'm pretty sure commoz recommended not using the tab washers and only using loctite
The issue with lock tabs/washers on anything is that we are tempted to tighten a little more than needed to get the flats on the set screw to line up nicely with the tab....not a good idea.

Of course I understand that it´s an easy fix this, but it annoys me when small things like this isn´t properly made, if it´s the inner cover or the locking tabs. The holes for the screws are heli coiled, that can´t have been done from the factory, or is it? I get a strange idea in my head that it will be easier for the oil to slowly make it´s way out into the transm because of that, and since I will be running a belt I don´t won´t any oil there at all..... but I don´t know, it´s getting late and I´m getting tired.....

Oil will get past the bottom 2 bolts if you don't seal them and if your bike wet sumps, the sealer will also stop then coming lose but still use the tabs, well I do anyway, same with buying full engine gasket kits to find the timing cover gasket is cut a bit short near the points cover, last 2 set of gasket kit I have bought over the years was like that, so many aftermarket parts that don't fit properly can be a bit annoying.

Tried that, still not right. Besides it looks like they are meant to be this way since one of the tabs is slightly bent, easier to bend over the head of the screw.
That slightly bent... is the wrong way. My whole working life in the metal trade, I've seen MANY ways for unskilled/unknowing/stoners/drunks/doofuses/disgruntled people to screw up parts.
