Hi all, anyone had any experience with the SS mudguards made I think in India??.. if yes whtas the quality like??

cheers Greg

I bought a front guard for a 74 from RGM. No idea where he sources them. They
are ok but if you put it next to the original one there are differences however small.
Mostly in how the edges are folded over. Im not home again until the holiday but
if you want Ill take pix of the two for you.
Come to that, I bought a rear for my T150v '73 from Burton Bike and it is close
but not really up to the original. No idea where that was made either.

You might try Autocycle Engineering in England. I was bringing a Triumph back to life and needed a rear SS mudguard. From what I was told, Autocycle bought the company, tha bought the company that made fenders in the 60's. They have the tooling to make new fenders and had one in stock that was an exact match for the one I was missing. Their site did not show my specific bike, but based on a phone call, they had a match from another Britt bike. It was under $200 shipped to my front door in California. I was very happy with them.

Couldn't hurt to make a phone call.

I got a rear mudguard from RGM a few weeks back it was genuine Andover Norton so I would guess their front ones would be also. It matches the old front in the way edges at sides front and back are finished and the thickness of metal seems same all in all it seems fine.

talking about fenders..
I would like to fit the older front slimmer SS style fender (years 1970/71) on the fatter later wheel and rubber (year 1973)
I heard somehow it is possible after some adjustments: anyone there who already succeeded in doing it?
Thank you for your suggestions!

I'm not sure you'll have much luck with that Lorenzo. On my original 69/70 front guard and stays, I can just get my pinkie finger between the wheel and the nut under the stays. And that's with a 3.00-19 wheel. You may get a 3.10-19 under it.
