IMPORTANT Check your brake pedal!

Hey guys,

I’m working on my Domi now, I’m changing the pegs so I took the pedal out and I see that there are 4 threads holes in the pedal but only 2 holes in the washer and the brake connector!
I’m lucky to see it now as one m4 bolt was broken and one was already loose and got an angle and was about to break off too! As you can see the holes on the washer and brake connector got very big already because it was moving for a long time and I didn’t notice anything!
I just drilled 2 more holes and fixed it.
The clutch pedal has 4 x M4 bolts in place!
CHECK your brake for a life risky failure like this!!!

Well I was unlucky when my bike fell over & broke the pedal , but was on way at the time to the “ Sammy Miller “ museum , so guess who drilled out the bolt & re taped it ? , very grateful that day , it was the newest Norton he had worked on

If you stop for a moment, do you think there could be a reason it was built like that…….?

I replace these regularly ie most bikes I see need these sorting. I replace the ungraded stainless m4's with hitensile m4's and thread lock them in.
