Hi Guys:
Thanks for your patience and all your condolences 5 years back.
I have a new email address and phone #.
Life is indeed a journey of self discovery and when I lost my wife I had to stop doing carb resleeving and concentrate on recovering after my loss.
I have been back at it for awhile now and wanted to thank you all for your patience.
Some have kept in contact and I have been very grateful.
I am still in Woodstock Ontario doing concentrics ,monoblocs and early bing slide carbs.
My new phone # starting at the end of this month is 519-290-2655.
E mail is bchessell132@gmail.com
Cheers

Congratulations Bruce on regrowing a new life around a big hole. Takes me about 3 yr not to be the first thing in mind.

Glad to see you are back Bruce. My resleeved Amals are still perking along just fine.

Welcome back. For those that aren't familiar with your work, can you explain what gets done, the materials used and the advantages to it? Pictures would be great also.

Hi Guys:
I have been resleeving amal carbs for customers for 30 years.I am located in Woodstock,Ontario Canada.
I rebore the carb bodies to clean up the ovality and wear.I machine the slides and Loctite and press on a brass sleeve which I have machined to a specific size. I put the bodies into a sonic cleaner to be sure the ports and small passages are clear.I then remachine the slides to the original cutaway and give the carbs a .003" clearance.
5 years ago my life changed when I lost my wife of 40 years and took a break away from my business.I have been slowly getting back in the groove after travelling on my bikes to Alaska, california and everywere in between.
Cheers
Bruce

I forgot to mention the brass slides are better because it stops the gauling between the slides and bodies .The original slides and bodies gaul because of the materials being the same. The brass stops this problem.I will try and post some pics.
Cheers
Bruce

Howdy, Bruce.

Thanks once again for having done a great job on my 67 Bonny monoblocks, and re-threading a head.

I recall you got out of the head work due to customs and horrendous fees...

Sorry for your loss, but glad you are back! The 930`s for my `68 Commando are running perfect!
